Arkansas accuses Kalshi of concealing trading risks and allowing users under 21 to use its products

Odaily reports: The U.S. state of Arkansas has accused prediction market platform Kalshi of knowing that professional traders and insider trading risks existed on the platform, yet telling users that the platform is legal and safe while concealing the related risks; state authorities also said that Kalshi allows users under 21 to use the relevant products.

Arkansas is seeking to recover unpaid taxes from Kalshi since it began operating in the state, and, under state law, is seeking civil penalties of up to $10,000 per violation. (Bitcoin.com News)
