Tether MDK Gains Support from 15 Mining Companies and Others, Advancing Bitcoin Mining Automation
Odaily — Digital asset company Tether has announced that 15 Bitcoin mining companies, ASIC manufacturers, and mining pools have committed to jointly building and maintaining integrations for its open-source mining development kit, MDK. MDK aims to unify access methods across different mining infrastructures, enabling developers to build applications and AI automation systems.
Participants will develop and maintain MDK Workers, converting their respective hardware, mining pool, or system interfaces into universal interfaces; without needing to replace existing technology, they can also decide which features to open up. Existing applications can connect to different mining environments through MDK.
Tether's QVAC mining agent has already connected to mining infrastructure through MDK. MDK version 0.11 will be released on October 23–24 at the Plan ₿ Forum in Lugano, with the first stable version 1.0 planned for launch by the end of 2026. (Tether News)
