“White-haired Stock God” Serenity Slams SIVE Management: Lack of Clear Commitment to Listing Timeline May Worsen Market Concerns

Odaily reports: “White-haired Stock God” Serenity published a post criticizing the management of optical communications laser manufacturer Sivers (SIVE) for failing to highlight the potential commercial value of its laser production capacity in recent earnings communications, and for lacking a clear commitment to a Nasdaq listing timeline, which may exacerbate market concerns about its near-term execution capabilities.

However, Serenity believes that Sivers’ plan to add 100 million units of annual CW DFB laser production capacity in the fourth quarter of 2027 comes at a time of tight industry supply. Meanwhile, Lumentum (LITE) has sold out its capacity through 2029, and Coherent (COHR) and Applied Optoelectronics (AAOI) are also diverting part of their laser capacity to their own product programs, which may create opportunities for Sivers to secure customer and capacity agreements. In addition, Sivers’ commercialization opportunities with companies such as Jabil (JBL) and GlobalFoundries (GFS), as well as its previously established co-packaged optics (CPO) projects, may see key progress starting in 2027.
