First batch of tokenized US stock trades completed, Canton Network executes trades under SEC innovation exemption framework
Odaily News: Canton Strategic Holdings announced that its issuer-backed tokenized common stock completed its first trades on November 4 (US Eastern Time) on TSV LLC, a tokenized securities trading platform on the Canton Network. The company stated that these transactions are the first batch of tokenized US stock trades under the innovation exemption framework introduced by the US SEC on September 17. Existing shareholder Five North was the seller, DRW Cumberland was the buyer, and Flowdesk provided liquidity; the trades were conducted through the permissioned pool of the Tradecraft AMM protocol and settled atomically on the Canton Network. The company stated that holders of tokenized stocks enjoy the same rights as shareholders holding shares through Nasdaq.
