Odaily reports: Brazil's presidential election will be held on October 4, and the result could influence the country's crypto policy direction (Brazil ranks first globally in crypto adoption). Incumbent President Lula is facing off against former President's son Flavio Bolsonaro. If incumbent President Lula is re-elected, regulation and compliance requirements are expected to be strengthened, and the central bank has already tightened oversight of exchanges; he may also push for taxation of stablecoin transactions (previously shelved due to the election). If former President's son Flavio Bolsonaro wins, his crypto stance is unclear, and there is no record indicating he has ever mentioned cryptocurrency. However, he previously defended someone associated with the "Bitcoin Pharaoh" pyramid scheme. (Bitcoin.com News)
Odaily reports: According to Arkham monitoring, a whale address transferred 70 million H tokens worth $4.91 million to cryptocurrency exchange Bybit over the past 24 hours. This wallet had previously sent over $5.35 million worth of H tokens to Sablier.
Monitoring suggests the address is likely linked to the Humanity team. It received 2.77 billion H tokens from the project team 109 days ago and still holds over 2.6 billion H. This deposit to a centralized exchange marks the wallet's first such operation. Since H tokens have been trading largely flat over the past week, this large transfer could increase the risk of price volatility going forward.

Odaily News: DWF Labs Managing Partner Andrei Grachev stated that if Trump wins the midterm elections and distributes $5,000 to every U.S. adult citizen, the scale of the distribution would be equivalent to 150% of the "helicopter money" during the COVID-19 pandemic. Some of these funds could flow into the crypto market, potentially triggering a bull run similar to that of 2021. If this scenario materializes, investors should cash out their gains during the rally, as a crisis may follow.
Trump previously promised that if Republicans win House and Senate seats in the midterm elections, he would distribute $5,000 "dividends" to every U.S. adult citizen. Based on approximately 240 million U.S. adult citizens, the plan is estimated to cost about $1.2 trillion.

Odaily reports: According to monitoring by Hans, co-founder of Hyperdash, Hyperliquid's AQAv2 mechanism has created a new revenue stream. On October 3, the AQAv2 treasury wallet completed its first payment, paying $14.58 million for the USDC reserves held by the trading platform over the past 30 days. The funds will go into the assistance fund to buy HYPE.
Under this mechanism, after users bridge USDC to Hyperliquid, Circle mints the corresponding assets on HyperEVM and bills the treasury balance daily, settling every 30 days. Coinbase and Circle each stake 500,000 HYPE; if payment is not made on time, Coinbase could lose 2% of its staked amount per day.
Hans stated that Hyperliquid's revenue previously came mainly from trading fees, and AQAv2 enables the platform to earn revenue from margin deposits, regardless of whether the related funds participate in trading. The first payment covers August 26 to September 24, implying an average fee rate of about 3.14%, with annualized revenue estimated at approximately $193 million at the current scale.
From January 1 to September 30 this year, Hyperliquid's open interest increased from $7.72 billion to $16.4 billion, and platform margin increased from $4.34 billion to $7.22 billion; during the same period, perpetual contract cumulative trading volume was about $2 trillion, and the protocol earned $493.3 million in fees, equivalent to charging about 2.46 basis points per dollar of trading volume. Based on this year's average trading pace and the current AQAv2 fee rate, every $1 of margin can contribute about 15.4 cents in annual revenue to the protocol, of which about 12.5 cents comes from trading fees and about 2.8 cents comes from AQAv2. Hans expects that under a baseline scenario where the stablecoin market grows 20% annually and Hyperliquid maintains its current market share of about 8.7%, the protocol's annual revenue could increase from about $1.11 billion currently to $2.4 billion by the end of 2030.

The staking reward mechanism remains unchanged, with related rewards continuing to be funded by the strategic reserve.

Odaily News: Robert Kiyosaki, author of "Rich Dad Poor Dad," stated that holding Bitcoin, gold, and silver serves as financial preparation for economic problems, comparing it to buying car insurance. He emphasized that he only wants to hold currencies that governments cannot print.

Odaily reports: Ansem posted on X that the market has not yet fully priced in pump.fun's emergence as L1-like foundational infrastructure, on which other token issuance platforms could build directly in the future; for every ~$500 million in revenue the platform generates, token creators can receive ~$500 million in creator fees after tokens complete the bonding curve phase.
He believes that with the launch of features such as custom trading pairs and Callout Rewards, PUMP may gradually be valued under L1-like logic, and he is bullish on pump.fun developing into a super app in this cycle.
Odaily News: A 60-year-old woman in Hong Kong reported that she had earlier met a fraudster claiming to be an investment expert on an online platform, and was subsequently induced to invest in cryptocurrency on a fraudulent website.
Between April 14 and September 22, the woman made multiple transfers totaling approximately HK$21.5 million to designated investment accounts. The platform later demanded that she pay a deposit to prove that the investment account was not being used for money laundering.
Police initially classified the case as obtaining property by deception, and it is being followed up by the Fourth Team of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Sau Mau Ping Police District. No arrests have been made so far. (HK01 NFT)
Odaily reports that Pump.fun founder alon posted on X in response to controversy surrounding the Callout Rewards incentive mechanism. He stated that the program was launched two months ago with the goal of making Pump.fun the "most rewarding trading platform," but Callout Rewards V1 inadvertently incentivized the wrong behavior, leading to an increase in low-quality spam content and reducing users' willingness to produce quality content.
alon added that the team subsequently updated the rewards algorithm to favor quality over quantity. The more callouts a user posts daily, the more the marginal returns gradually diminish. Currently, Pump.fun has distributed rewards to accounts of various sizes, including large accounts as well as accounts with fewer than 10 followers, with no special treatment. Future incentive logic will revolve around "discovering quality tokens — building trader trust — earning rewards based on user trading volume," and he emphasized that simply farming callouts or exploiting followers for sell-off arbitrage cannot generate long-term returns.
