Odaily reports: Derive announced on X that Derive V3 is now live, the migration is complete, and trading has resumed. V3 assets are custodied on Ethereum, using ZK proofs to handle margin and settlement, and supporting sub-millisecond order matching. The new version enables no-code vault creation, offers ETH and BTC risk hedging to improve capital efficiency, and supports deposits and borrows of ETH, WBTC, HYPE, and USDC. Previously, the Derive community proposed migrating V2 positions to V3 and shutting down Derive Chain.
Odaily reports that US CFTC Chair Mike Selig stated in a post that the United States will no longer stand by as crypto business flows overseas and other countries set the standards. He said the crypto industry is returning to the United States, and clear regulatory rules will help keep the industry in the US, with America leading its development.
Odaily News: Crypto information platform Decrypt has launched Decrypt Money Accounts on Solana. Account balances are denominated in USDT and can be used across products including Earn, Swaps, Predictions, and Perps. The platform covers gas and rent fees through fee-payer co-signing, so users do not need to hold SOL or handle network fees.
The account uses a self-custody model. Decrypt does not hold users' private keys and cannot execute transactions on their behalf. Users can deposit funds through multiple payment methods. A private key export feature is expected to be available shortly, after which accounts can be connected to any Solana wallet software.
Cross-chain operations are handled at the platform's underlying layer. For example, Myriad Predictions markets settle on BNB Chain, yet users can still trade using the same Solana USDT balance without bridging or switching networks. Existing Myriad Wallet users can use the service directly without migration.
Decrypt Money Accounts will serve as the underlying channel for The Information Exchange, connecting Decrypt, Myriad, and the upcoming MYR. The platform will subsequently expand prediction markets into instruments such as spot, perpetual futures, and structured event products. (Decrypt)

Odaily News: El Salvador's National Bitcoin Office has disclosed that the country added 7 BTC over the past 7 days, bringing its national reserves to 7,798 BTC, valued at over $643 million at the time. The country is still executing its strategy of purchasing 1 BTC per day.
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) recently stated that El Salvador has not met the relevant standards for public sector holdings of crypto assets, but approved a waiver based on corrective measures and new commitments. The IMF had previously required El Salvador to gradually stop directly purchasing Bitcoin in order to secure a $1.4 billion credit facility.
IMF First Deputy Managing Director Dan Katz said that aside from documented donations, El Salvador is not expected to continue increasing its Bitcoin holdings. El Salvador's recent additional holdings are reportedly funded by unidentified private donors. (Bitcoin.com News)

Odaily reports that Tom Lee, Chairman of Bitmine, stated that the core driver of this crypto bull market may be stronger than previous cycles, because the potential market size brought by tokenization far exceeds the retail narratives of the past.
Tom Lee said that participants in the 2016 to 2017 bull market were mainly retail investors; the 2019 to 2021 cycle was mainly driven by NFTs and was likewise dominated by the retail market; while last year was a phase of rapid stablecoin development. He believes the greater driver now is real-world assets (RWA) and traditional financial assets moving on-chain. Global liquid assets total about $200 trillion, of which the three major asset classes—equities, bonds, and credit—amount to about $160 trillion. If 10% of these assets are brought on-chain, that would correspond to a market size of about $16 trillion.
Tom Lee further stated that for every $1 of assets tokenized or locked in an L1 blockchain ecosystem, it typically creates about $1 of value for that blockchain.
Odaily reports that crypto trader Bonk Guy posted that he recently suffered a loss of approximately $100,000 from trading a certain new token, primarily due to overtrading and continuously depleting his capital while chasing new trading pairs and liquidity rotation. The position size of this trade far exceeded what he typically allocates to similar trades.
Bonk Guy reflected that the common thread among his recent losses was relying on others' judgments rather than building his own investment conviction. He stated that most of his profits this cycle came from independent judgment and holding positions with conviction, but after achieving success he gradually became complacent and began making unnecessary trades.
Bonk Guy emphasized that sometimes the best trade is no trade at all, and going forward he will focus more on opportunities where he truly has investment conviction, even if it means missing out on some market movements.

Odaily reports: CryptoQuant posted on X platform that Bitcoin miners have recently stopped large-scale selling. Since Bitcoin hit a low of $76,000 on August 21 and miner status shifted from "extremely underpaid" to "fairly paid," no extreme miner fund outflows have occurred.
CryptoQuant stated that miner selling pressure was once a significant supply source continuously affecting Bitcoin's price during the 2026 bear market, and the current disappearance of this steady selling pressure may help alleviate market supply pressure.
