Odaily News: On October 8, Metis announced the launch of the Metis Rise monthly developer incentive program, rewarding teams that deploy new AI Agents on the Metis Andromeda mainnet, acquire real users, and generate real on-chain economic activity.
Metis stated that while many teams can currently build Agents capable of answering questions, Agents that can get paid, prove their identity, and earn sustained transaction trust remain scarce. Metis Rise aims to support developers in exploring this direction, help developers innovate, and drive the growth of AI Agent applications within the Metis ecosystem.
Metis also stated that it is building an execution and data layer for AI Agents, and that Andromeda's decentralized sequencer (DSeq) can eliminate the single point of failure that trustless transactions between Agents depend on.
The program focuses on the "economic usability" of AI Agents, covering four categories of needs: payments (x402), identity (ERC-8004), stablecoin escrow (Escrow), and independently verifiable on-chain signature receipts.
In terms of participation thresholds, developers need to meet the following conditions each month:
- At least 15 valid monthly active users;
- Each counted user must complete at least 3 qualifying transactions on Metis Andromeda, or settle an amount of no less than $2 (m.USDC, m.USDT, or METIS);
- Primary user transactions, settlement volume, and Gas consumption must occur on the Metis Andromeda mainnet.
The program is open to all developers, but is limited to projects newly deployed on the Andromeda mainnet. It supports any AI Agent framework and hosting method, including ClawUp, GOAT AgentKit, or self-built backends, and supports a dual-chain architecture based on GOAT Network. Metis Rise is hosted by Metis, with ClawUp, GOAT Network, and LazAI as ecosystem partners.

It remains unclear whether the startup will be able to obtain Sora's weights, but people familiar with the matter said that if the deal is reached, the company would gain sufficiently deep access to allow for substantial customization. Odaily News: South Korea Exchange (KRX)'s after-hours trading market for all stocks has been running for one month. Market experts believe the mechanism has improved investor trading convenience and enabled the market to respond more promptly to after-hours information changes, but it also faces challenges such as an excessively high proportion of retail investors, insufficient liquidity, and the need for institutional improvements.
Data shows that in the first week of the after-hours market's launch (September 14-18), retail investors accounted for as much as 90.4% of trading volume by value, while foreign and institutional investors accounted for only 6.7% and 2.6%, respectively. Industry insiders are concerned that the imbalance in market participation structure has become a major issue. An investor structure overly skewed toward retail could lead to insufficient market liquidity and amplify individual stock price volatility, especially for small- and mid-cap stocks and popular thematic stocks. Some securities firm representatives suggest adjusting institutional investment rules and attracting more professional investors by lowering barriers for foreign participation. (EToday)
Odaily News: Kamino's new CEO Michael Weisz recently appeared on the Empire podcast hosted by Blockworks co-founder Jason Yanowitz, sharing Kamino's next steps. He hopes Kamino will become the primary lending and liquidity infrastructure for on-chain assets, connecting asset managers with distribution platforms such as brokerages and exchanges through APIs, so that users can directly access Kamino on platforms they are already familiar with.
Regarding the token, Michael stated that he will communicate with KMNO holders in a manner similar to that of a public company. He said: "Since there are investors willing to bet on this vision and buy the token, we should respect that and continuously keep them updated on our progress." He mentioned that holders will regularly receive updates on team hiring, business partnerships, product upgrades, new asset listings, and partners, including the challenges encountered along the way. Nearly all of his own long-term earnings also come from KMNO.

Odaily News: Blockaid co-founder Ido Ben-Natan stated that since the release of the H1 report in August, the number of onchain cybersecurity incidents has continued to hit record monthly highs. Attackers are profit-driven, and attacking onchain infrastructure offers the highest return on investment for hackers. As AI agents gain access to more capital, this trend will become even more severe. Ben-Natan also noted that Blockaid is currently in one of its busiest periods since inception, partly due to the significant increase in hacking attacks. Nansen CEO Alex Svanevik predicts that by 2028, trading crypto assets through AI agents rather than manually clicking through interfaces will become the norm.
