Tether plans to inject €28.8 million into Juventus
Odaily: Tether, the stablecoin issuer that holds approximately 11.5% of Juventus shares, will participate in Juventus's proposed €250 million capital increase, contributing €28.8 million in proportion to its shareholding. Tether voted in favor of the capital increase at the shareholders' meeting held on November 3, but abstained on all other ordinary shareholders' meeting proposals, including the approval of the club's annual financial report showing a loss of €66 million. In December 2025, Tether made a binding unsolicited offer to Juventus's largest shareholder Exor to acquire all shares of the club, but was rejected. In November last year, Tether also participated in Juventus's €98 million capital increase, contributing €11.7 million, but at that time opposed the specific arrangements of the capital increase plan.
