The so-called "TradingView Premium cracked version" is suspected to be malware designed to steal account and crypto wallet information
Odaily reports that an X account has been repeatedly promoting a so-called "reverse-engineered cracked version of TradingView Premium" since mid-October, with related content reaching over 300,000 views at its peak. The software requires downloading a password-protected compressed file and generating an authorization code through a KeyGen before installation.
The account claims the project has been open-sourced on GitHub, but the actual download link does not point to GitHub, and it claims the repository has been made private, with the relevant link only obtainable within the application and becoming invalid after a single use. Multiple users have warned in the comments that the software is suspected of being used to steal account information and crypto wallet information; some users reported that after decompression, the software was immediately identified as a virus by antivirus software and deleted.
