CoreWeave Writes to Texas Governor-Elect, Seeking Partnership to Advance Data Center Projects
Odaily reports: CoreWeave has sent a letter to Texas Governor-Elect Gina Hinojosa, expressing its desire to work with her incoming administration to advance existing and future data center projects in the state.
CoreWeave co-founder and CEO Michael Intrator said in a statement: "You have made it clear that data center development must align with the interests of Texans. We strongly support these principles." He also said: "We hope to have the opportunity to work with your transition team to responsibly complete already-permitted projects and to establish clear, stable, and long-term sustainable standards for future development."
Hinojosa said in a CNN interview on Thursday: "Texas has always been a pro-business state, but once I become governor, things will be different. There must be a partnership between businesses and government that benefits Texas residents."
