Odaily reports: Zcash has completed Network Upgrade 7 (NU7), shortening the target block time from 75 seconds to 25 seconds, with the per-block reward adjusted accordingly to 0.52083333 ZEC to maintain the established daily issuance. The total supply cap of ZEC remains at 21 million, and the next halving is expected to occur in late 2028 at block height 6,132,390.
