Approximately 68.15 million stolen CORE recovered, Core network executes hard fork

Odaily reports that according to b14g monitoring, the Core network executed a hard fork today, transferring and recovering 68,146,177.22 CORE from three attacker-controlled addresses through a one-time on-chain state adjustment, accounting for approximately 70.2% of the 97,045,563 CORE affected in the October 31 incident. This operation did not roll back transactions, mint new tokens, or change the total supply of CORE. The recovered tokens have not yet been distributed to affected users, and the related funds held or frozen by exchanges have not yet been returned. b14g stated that it is still verifying balances and formulating a distribution plan, and there is currently no official claims process.
