Short-term holders under pressure as over 36,600 BTC in losses flow into exchanges within 24 hours
Odaily reports that according to Darkfost monitoring, Bitcoin tested $76,000 yesterday, putting pressure on some short-term holders. Over the past 24 hours, short-term holders transferred more than 36,600 BTC in a loss state to exchanges. Binance's short-term holder activity over the past 7 days remains elevated, with the 7-day cumulative inflow rising to its highest level since October, reaching 45,400 BTC, despite an exploit occurring during the period that led to BTC outflows. Darkfost stated that the increase in inflows and the rising number of loss-making BTC transferred to exchanges indicate that short-term holders have come under pressure in recent days. He noted that intensified short-term holder capitulation typically means the correction is approaching an extreme, and short-term momentum may shift accordingly.
