CZ: AI-Crypto Integration May Start with Stablecoins, with AI Agent Trading Taking Priority over AI Payments

Odaily News: CZ posted on X that the integration of AI and crypto may begin with stablecoins, before expanding to Bitcoin, BNB, Ethereum, Solana, and other blockchains. Some major AI companies may issue their own tokens, using them to pay for subscription services and to bind different language models and services. Building 1 gigawatt of computing power requires approximately $30 billion to $50 billion, and some AI companies planning to build hundreds of gigawatts of computing power in the coming years may need trillions of dollars. Data center tokens could therefore reward token holders for usage of data centers. CZ noted that a company closely tied to OpenAI, such as Worldcoin, has already issued tokens. Based on his exchanges with several top AI companies, AI agent trading takes higher priority than AI payments—AI agents may first be used to gather information, analyze charts, find trades, and place orders directly, before being applied to payments.
