According to Odaily Planet Daily, Krungthai Bank (KTB) and its partners, Advanced Info Service (ADVANC) and PTT Oil and Retail Business (OR), plan to launch a virtual bank in 2026. Previously, after receiving approval from the Thai Ministry of Finance, the alliance established Thai Trinity Holdings Co., Ltd. on July 9, with KTB holding a 41% stake, ADVANC 39%, and OR 20%. On August 8, Clicx Bank Public Company Limited was registered, giving the holding company a 95% stake, which will increase to 99.99% in the future. (Fintech Singapore)
