Elon Musk: SpaceX and Tesla's Terafab project aims to achieve chip mass production in 2028

Odaily reports: Musk stated on the SpaceX conference call that Terafab, the chip manufacturing joint venture established by SpaceX and Tesla, plans to achieve mass production in the third quarter of 2028. Terafab's internal goal is to produce the first test chip using static random-access memory (SRAM) circuitry and get it working normally around May or June of next year at the Terafab R&D base in Austin.
