[Odaily Planet Daily News] Hunter Biden, son of former U.S. President Joe Biden, has recently expressed frequent public support for cryptocurrencies. In June of this year, Hunter Biden stated, "Decentralized digital currency and blockchain are an inevitable future." The same week, when asked about his views on cryptocurrency, he directly replied, "Hyperliquid." Additionally, he mentioned that when deciding to sell his artwork, he wanted every piece to be put on-chain and accept Bitcoin payments, and said that Andreas Antonopoulos's book "The Internet of Money" had "opened his eyes."

Hunter Biden has re-emerged into the public eye this year, opening an X account and a Substack, and frequently appearing on podcasts and news programs. Recently, he also discussed the possibility of running in the 2028 U.S. presidential election, saying "no decision has been made yet" when asked whether he might run for president. He also previously told billionaire John Catsimatidis that if he received his support, he "might have to run."

Forbes also noted that Hunter Biden was convicted in 2024 on three felony gun charges and pleaded guilty to separate tax crime charges later that year, before receiving a full pardon as Joe Biden left office. (Forbes)
