Odaily: GMX 🫐 posted on X that it has opened the Builder Fees mechanism on Solana, allowing third-party developers to build trading interfaces, route orders, or create automation tools and charge fees from each position order submitted by users. Developers need to publish fee rates on-chain, and traders sign the rate in each order; the fee is added on top of the standard trading fee and calculated based on position changes. For example, when a position is increased by $1,000 and the fee rate is 0.01%, $0.10 is charged, with final settlement to the developer's claim vault. Orders submitted through developer interfaces will use the same liquidity pools, oracle prices, and price impact rules as other orders. Builder Fees apply to market and limit orders for increasing positions, decreasing positions, and stop-loss position reductions, but do not apply to swaps, liquidations, or ADL.
Odaily reports: Crypto trader Ansem posted on X, stating that rather than predicting the next Meme coin to capture market attention, the bigger opportunity lies in building businesses around speculative behavior.
Ansem pointed out that younger traders are increasingly accustomed to trading assets driven by internet culture, and their behavioral patterns are clearly different from those of traditional investors. The popularity of any single Meme coin may keep rotating, but market demand for trading such assets may be more enduring. More attention should be paid to how developers can transform this continuous trading activity into sustainable business models and long-term value.

Odaily Sees: Joel Greenberg, a shareholder of Circle Internet Group and a former software engineer at the company, filed a lawsuit in a U.S. federal court on Thursday, accusing World Liberty Financial (WLFI), the crypto company co-founded by U.S. President Donald Trump and his family, of seeking profits through two UAE-related transactions in violation of the Foreign Emoluments Clause of the U.S. Constitution. The clause restricts the president from accepting money or other benefits from foreign governments without congressional approval.
The lawsuit states that the first transaction occurred before Trump's second term began, in which a 49% equity stake in WLFI was sold for $500 million, with the funds reportedly originating from the UAE, and that Trump earned millions of dollars from the deal after taking office. The second transaction involved an investment fund established by the UAE government purchasing $2 billion worth of the Trump family's digital currency. The plaintiff alleges that the transaction inflated the value of Trump's crypto holdings, brought him millions of dollars in interest income, and significantly expanded the circulating supply of his stablecoin. Odaily reports: S&P Global Ratings released a report on Thursday, assigning UK digital bank Revolut a BBB+ investment-grade rating for the first time, and expects the company to issue senior unsecured bonds in 2027 to build a debt buffer capable of absorbing potential losses and meeting regulatory requirements. The report noted that Revolut's balance sheet has exceeded £40 billion (approximately $53.5 billion); should the bank fail, the Bank of England could push for a restructuring in which investors would bear corresponding losses.
S&P expects that as Revolut expands its unsecured retail lending business and launches mortgage products, its loan portfolio will double in 2027 and double again in 2028. S&P believes that Revolut has a strong consumer brand, a scalable technology platform, and increasingly diversified products, but its share of primary banking relationships remains lower than that of traditional banks, and rapid global expansion could also exacerbate operational complexity and compliance risks. BBB+ is among the lower tiers of S&P's investment-grade ratings. (Bloomberg)

Odaily reports: The U.S. Blockchain Association has issued a statement saying it has sent a letter to the leadership of both the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives, urging Congress to advance prudent, bipartisan digital asset tax legislation. The association stated that approximately 67 million Americans hold and use digital assets, and that the current tax system exposes taxpayers to uncertainty and a heavy compliance burden while driving innovation overseas. The tax principles proposed by the association include a meaningful de minimis exemption, taxing mining and staking rewards as newly created property upon disposition, reporting arrangements that protect taxpayer privacy, taxation based on economic substance rather than technical form, and wash sale rules that prevent abuse without penalizing everyday activities. The House Ways and Means Committee has previously advanced digital asset tax-related legislation, and Senator Steve Daines has introduced a Senate version; Congress is in recess until the November 3 election, but there remains a legislative window during the short session.

On the first day, it supports 7 external sources including Curve, Fluid, and PancakeSwap, with more networks to be added gradually. Odaily reports: "On-chain detective" ZachXBT issued a warning to users, stating that if they value the security of their assets, they should withdraw all funds from Indian cryptocurrency exchange CoinDCX. He accused CoinDCX's co-founders of previously denying that a theft had occurred in both public and private communications, only to later disclose an incident involving approximately $16 million in stolen assets, arguing that the exchange failed to transparently disclose the situation to the public in a timely manner.
ZachXBT also stated that CoinDCX's co-founders are a bunch of clowns who run the exchange like a circus. This is not the first time CoinDCX has encountered such problems, and he included other Indian centralized exchanges such as WazirX and BitBNS in his criticism as well.
