Odaily reports: Bitwise analyst Ishmael Asad posted on X that Bitwise is currently working with over 20 wealth management platforms, which collectively manage approximately $24 trillion in assets. Bitwise is also pushing these platforms to approve crypto asset exchange-traded products (ETPs) so that their investment advisors can offer clients access to crypto asset allocation.
Currently, among the institutions Bitwise works with, 17 have approved crypto-related equity ETPs, 11 have approved Bitcoin ETPs, 6 have approved Ethereum ETPs, 6 have approved top-10 crypto asset portfolio ETPs, and 2 have approved Solana ETPs, with 1 each approving a Bitcoin and gold combo ETP and an XRP ETP.
Asad stated that since the first batch of spot crypto ETFs launched in January 2024, crypto ETPs have seen cumulative net inflows of approximately $77 billion. Currently, there are over 50 spot crypto ETPs in the U.S. market, and the number continues to grow, covering BTC, ETH, SOL, AVAX, LINK, XRP, ZEC, HYPE, crypto asset portfolios, and more. Additionally, wealth management institutions' interest in crypto assets continues to grow, with related demand extending from ETPs to crypto trading and custody, payments, and tokenization.
Odaily News: According to a CITIC Securities research report, U.S. September CPI came in above expectations, with core month-over-month inflation running hot once again. The range of items showing price increases was relatively broad, and the inflation rate has failed to "fall back toward target quickly enough." We still expect the Fed to raise rates one more time this year, that is, to hold steady in October and then hike by another 25bps in December.
In an environment where oil prices remain elevated and inflation stickiness persists, U.S. financial conditions are unlikely to ease meaningfully, dollar liquidity is expected to remain tight, Treasury yields do not yet have clear room to move lower, and sentiment toward gold remains fragile. The resilience of fundamentals matters more than the odds offered by liquidity. (Jinshi)

Odaily reports that crypto KOL Bonk Guy posted on X platform, stating that panic selling in the market could last for hours or even days, and investors need not wait until the sell-off ends to start buying, but should instead focus on opportunities when market participants broadly lose confidence.
Bonk Guy expressed optimism about SI's performance after this round of panic selling, believing it is poised to hit a new all-time high in the future, with a market cap reaching hundreds of millions of dollars.
According to GMGN data, SI's current market cap stands at $13 million, with a 24H decline of 11.8%.

Odaily News: Pump.fun co-founder Alon posted on the X platform to announce the latest adjustments to the Callout Rewards algorithm, stating that the new mechanism will introduce a Tailer PNL multiplier. The more profit copiers make, the higher the rewards recommenders receive, while losses will negatively impact rewards. Low-market-cap tokens will be reintroduced into the reward scope, but it must be ensured that copiers have real profit opportunities.
Additionally, trading volume will no longer be the sole basis for reward attribution, and the behavior of posting an abnormally large number of trade recommendations daily will be penalized. The Callouts page of the Pump.fun App has added 1-hour and 4-hour PNL metrics for copiers to improve transparency and identify traders who may cause copiers to suffer severe losses shortly after posting callouts. In the future, the Callout Rewards algorithm will continue to be adjusted, and more information about the reward mechanism will be announced subsequently.
Odaily reports: On Wednesday, eight U.S. states filed a lawsuit against OpenAI, accusing the company of misleading users about the safety of ChatGPT. State attorneys general said the company failed to provide safeguards, contributing to suicide, self-harm, and violent behavior among users, including teenagers, and that its operations violated state laws and regulations. The Arkansas lawsuit alleged that OpenAI knew a product this powerful required meaningful safeguards, that its leadership publicly acknowledged the risks, and that employees repeatedly raised serious safety concerns, yet despite the warnings, OpenAI did not slow down. Instead, it accelerated the release of increasingly powerful models without adequate safety protections or testing, prioritizing growth and profit over safety.
The eight states participating in the joint lawsuit also include Arizona, Iowa, Idaho, Kansas, Montana, Nebraska, and West Virginia; with the exception of Arizona, the attorneys general of the remaining states are all Republicans. The states are seeking a court order to force the company to change its safety operations, strengthen protections for children, and compensate the states for damages.
Odaily News: Asset management firm VanEck is seeking to withdraw its filing for a Lido staked Ethereum ETF. The proposed fund had originally planned to directly hold stETH and provide investors with exposure to Lido's liquid staking token through brokerage accounts.
Reports indicate that the fund's registration never became effective, meaning the product was unable to enter the formal issuance stage. Lido is the largest liquid staking protocol on Ethereum, and stETH is its issued liquid staking token. Users who stake ETH can earn staking yields while maintaining asset liquidity.

Odaily reports that on October 14, Tempo announced that payroll platform Deel has become the first customer to use its Zones privacy system in a production environment, with contractor balances and payment histories no longer publicly visible. Funds deposited into a Zone by Deel's treasury department remain visible on the public network, but contractors' recipients, payment amounts, and asset holdings remain private; contractors can view their own balances, while Deel retains access for reconciliation and auditing purposes.
Each Zone maintains a private ledger and connects to the Tempo public network through a portal that holds endorsed assets. Deposits and withdrawals still leave records on the public network, including token amounts and public network addresses. Operators can read the private ledger, restrict participants and supported assets, and enforce token issuers' transfer policies. This integration adds privacy features to Deel's existing wallet, which was opened to eligible contractors in over 80 countries in August; embedded wallet service provider Privy supports Zones through its API.
According to Odaily monitoring, an address with cumulative contract account profits exceeding $24.82 million added approximately $20.4 million in XYZ100 short positions between 06:21 and 06:44 on October 15. The short position value increased from approximately $24.16 million to approximately $44.46 million.
