Odaily reports: Bitcoin News posted on X platform that Michael Saylor explained that Strategy intentionally wants investors to accept that selling Bitcoin is part of its overall financial strategy. When Strategy initially sold 32 Bitcoin, the market overreacted; subsequently, the market absorbed the sale of thousands of Bitcoin without any negative impact on price. Saylor stated that Strategy must be able to buy and sell Bitcoin when it serves the interests of shareholders and credit investors.
Odaily News: The Starknet community has initiated a 7-day non-binding vote to poll STRK holders on whether they support further research into the possibility of transitioning Starknet from an Ethereum L2 to an independent quantum-resistant L1.
The proposal notes that Starknet currently employs hash-based STARK proofs and native account abstraction technology, giving its core protocol quantum-resistant capabilities, and user accounts can also adopt quantum-resistant signatures without requiring protocol upgrades. However, the parts that depend on Ethereum, such as its cross-chain bridge and data availability, remain constrained by the progress of Ethereum's quantum-resistant upgrades. Transitioning to an independent L1 is expected to eliminate this dependency.
The proposal makes clear that regardless of which approach is ultimately adopted, STRK will continue to serve as the network's native token, no new tokens will be issued, and the cross-chain bridge from Ethereum to Starknet will remain open.
This vote is intended solely to gauge community sentiment and is not a formal decision to transition. If the vote passes, the team will initiate further research and propose a detailed plan; if it does not receive support, the team will continue advancing quantum-resistant upgrade work under the existing L2 architecture.
PPP Prediction Market Tool monitoring shows that Polymarket's "StandX will issue a token before the end of 2026" probability has dropped to 3%, a 58% decline in 24 hours.
If StandX officially launches a token before 11:59 PM ET on the date specified in the title, the prediction market will resolve as "Yes"; otherwise, it will resolve as "No."
Only tokens officially issued by StandX qualify; stablecoins, meme coins, liquid staking tokens (LSTs), and synthetic tokens do not count.
The token must have been publicly launched and be actually tradable; merely publishing an announcement does not meet the resolution criteria.
Resolution is primarily based on StandX official information, with reference to consensus reports from credible media.
Previous news: StandX announced it will not issue a token, and perpetual contracts will enter reduce-only mode starting October 20.

Odaily News: StandX co-founder and CEO Aaron Gong posted on X, stating: "Regarding this decision for StandX not to conduct a TGE, I want to be candid with everyone. Without external capital backing, our TVL reached a peak of $200 million. The team has achieved commendable results, but we still fell short of our expectation of entering the industry's top three. Based on the project's current fundamentals, we could indeed proceed with a token launch. But if we cannot deliver long-term value and instead profit through token issuance and short-term speculation, we would be leaving the cost to our users and community. That would be irresponsible both externally and internally, and it goes against my values. Most of our past revenue has already been distributed to users through SIP-2 / SIP-3 subsidies. For this airdrop, in addition to the surplus on the project's books, I will also contribute personally to give back as much as possible to the community that has supported us all along. All user funds are safe. We will ensure an orderly wind-down and clearly announce the specific arrangements for fund withdrawals, the airdrop, and the cessation of all services. Thank you to every user and team member. I regret that we could not reach the position we had hoped for. We will do our best to finish things properly."
Odaily News: TSMC reported its third-quarter financial results, with net profit rising 69% year-over-year to NT$763.1 billion (approximately $23.6 billion), beating market expectations. Revenue grew 51% year-over-year to $47 billion, also exceeding market forecasts.
Driven by sustained growth in AI demand, TSMC raised its 2026 USD-denominated revenue growth forecast from slightly above 40% to approximately 44%, with full-year capital expenditure expected to be between $60 billion and $64 billion. The company expects fourth-quarter revenue of $52.3 billion to $54.3 billion, a gross margin of 65% to 67%, and an operating margin of 56.5% to 58.8%.
TSMC stated that demand for advanced processes remains strong, with revenue growth accelerating over the past two consecutive quarters. The company is currently building and equipping approximately 20 fabs simultaneously, far exceeding the previous scale of constructing 4 to 5 new fabs at the same time. The company will also send teams to assess power supply and data center construction progress in the United States, but will remain cautious when formulating its 2027 business plan.
Despite growing market concerns over the scale of AI infrastructure investment, institutions continue to raise their capital expenditure forecasts for TSMC in 2027. Goldman Sachs expects it to reach $85 billion, while UBS projects $90 billion, both above the institutional survey average of $75 billion. (Jinshi)

The current framework requires that any new Bitcoin purchasing strategy remain budget-neutral and not increase the burden on taxpayers.
