Trump's first post-election TV interview set for Sunday night on '60 Minutes'

Odaily reports: According to CNN, Trump's first television interview since the Republican Party's crushing midterm election defeat is expected to be recorded on Friday, with "60 Minutes" correspondent Ross Douthat conducting the interview. The interview will air on Sunday night. This will be Trump's first in-depth interview since the Republican Party suffered sweeping electoral losses on Tuesday. A CBS News source confirmed the interview arrangement but cautioned that the interview has not yet officially taken place.

The schedule released by the White House on Friday shows that Trump will participate in a pre-recorded interview at 10:30 a.m. Eastern Time. Trump pays close attention to "60 Minutes," occasionally posting criticism of the program on Truth Social, and is well aware that the show draws high ratings. Last Sunday's episode averaged 10 million viewers, partly boosted by the preceding NFL game.
