Gate Stocks Launches Margin Trading Feature

According to official announcements, Gate Stocks has launched margin trading, supporting margin buying and short selling. Users can borrow USDT to increase funds for stock purchases, or borrow eligible stocks to sell for shorting or position hedging. Currently, the relevant features are available on Gate's Web platform, with support on the App coming in version v8.43.0 and above.

The Gate stock trading page now displays margin trading indicators, showing information such as supported directions for underlying assets, margin requirements, margin buying and short selling quotas, and reference interest rates for securities lending. Order confirmation, open orders, and positions pages will also display relevant trading details. Stock accounts also support margin liability management, interest accrual record queries, USDT fund transfers, and automatic repayment.
