According to Odaily monitoring of Mercado Bitcoin, the affected assets are currently valued at approximately $36.3 million, of which $12.9 million has been frozen, and related work is still ongoing. The platform and app remain suspended until a safe restoration is confirmed; the company states that customer assets are secure, with balances still recorded in their respective accounts. The exchange previously said it had frozen $11 million in related assets.
