Trump's Posts Monetized: Bloomberg and Two High-Frequency Trading Firms Subscribe to High-Speed Data Service
Odaily report: Truth Social, the social media platform founded by U.S. President Donald Trump, is selling data services to financial institutions that provide faster access to Trump's posts.
According to people familiar with the matter, financial data provider Bloomberg and two high-frequency trading firms, Susquehanna International Group and Jump Trading, have subscribed to the service, with monthly fees of up to $100,000. The service, called Truth API, allows clients to access Trump's posts on Truth Social earlier than ordinary users. Since presidential statements can rapidly move financial asset prices, this advantage of tens of milliseconds could give institutions relying on algorithmic trading a competitive edge.
