Mantle releases MIP-35 proposal, outlining core budget for the fourth budget cycle

Odaily Report: The Mantle core contributor team has released the MIP-35 proposal, which is currently in the discussion phase. The proposal outlines the core budget for the fourth budget cycle from July 2026 to June 2027, with a total USDx cap of 40 million and a total MNT cap of 150 million, covering expenses including personnel, administrative and general management costs, marketing and distribution, ecosystem projects, and infrastructure and security. Financing and treasury management strategies, liquidity provision and investments, and Gas fees are not included in the budget scope. The budget automatically renews every 12 months; if renewal is rejected, the existing budget and caps will be extended proportionally for a maximum of 3 months, solely for the purpose of proposing and approving a subsequent budget plan. MNT holders must complete delegation before the proposal enters voting.
