The regular withdrawal interface deadline has passed, yet approximately $40.41 million in assets remain to be withdrawn from the Blast bridge

Odaily Report: Blast reached the deadline for its regular withdrawal interface today, with approximately $40.41 million in assets still awaiting withdrawal on its official Ethereum mainnet cross-chain bridge, a decrease of about 36% from roughly $63.5 million on October 2. Blast announced on October 2 that it would gradually shut down the Layer 2 network, citing operating costs exceeding revenue and the lack of a credible path to economic sustainability. Blast previously stated that after October 26, users can still withdraw assets but must interact directly with the bridge contract on Ethereum, as the regular website interface will no longer be available. At the time of reporting, the Blast official website still displays the withdrawal portal and a notice about the network's gradual shutdown. Blast has published contract-level withdrawal guides for ETH, USDB, and BLAST. The relevant steps include initiating a withdrawal on the Blast network, waiting for the transaction's corresponding state record to be submitted to Ethereum, submitting a withdrawal proof through the OptimismPortal contract, and executing the final confirmation transaction after a one-day challenge period.
