Samsung and SK Hynix to Mass-Produce and Deliver HBM4 to NVIDIA in Q2 Next Year

Odaily reports, citing ZDNet Korea on the 26th, that Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix have set the mass production and shipment timeline for 8-layer HBM4 supplied to NVIDIA at around the second quarter of next year.

A source familiar with the matter said: "It is understood that NVIDIA will equip its Rubin Ultra-based NVL rack-scale systems with 8-layer HBM4 as well. Although 12-layer HBM4 will remain the primary focus this year, the proportion of 8-layer HBM4 will increase significantly starting from mid-next year."
