Strategy's Bitcoin holdings reach 848,517 BTC, with $193.1 million spent on repurchasing STRC preferred stock

Odaily reports: Bitcoin News posted on X platform that Strategy spent $22.1 million last week to purchase Bitcoin and $193.1 million to repurchase its own STRC preferred stock. Between October 12 and 18, Strategy added 267 BTC at an average purchase price of $82,900; the funds came from the sale of 140,872 shares of common stock, bringing its Bitcoin holdings to 848,517 BTC. Strategy's board also raised its digital credit repurchase authorization from $2 billion to $3 billion.
