Dragonfly Partner: Hyperliquid Is Expanding the Incremental Market Rather Than Stealing CEX Share; Crypto and AI Will Accelerate Integration in the Future
Odaily News: Dragonfly Managing Partner Haseeb Qureshi stated in a recent Space that Hyperliquid has limited user overlap with centralized trading platforms, and some users who have difficulty completing KYC or cannot access mainstream trading platforms use it as their primary trading gateway. Although Hyperliquid's market share continues to grow, centralized exchange trading volume has not declined in tandem, indicating that the two are more focused on expanding the overall market size together rather than simply competing for existing share.
Haseeb is also bullish on Pre-IPO stock trading demand and the crypto market's performance over the next 6 to 12 months. He believes that by 2030, the boundaries of "crypto VC" will gradually blur, as crypto technology becomes integrated into fintech, digital banking, stablecoins, and consumer products. In the future, investment firms including Dragonfly will increasingly focus on fintech, new technologies, and AI companies.
He emphasized that in the future, the core competitiveness of investment firms will no longer be merely familiarity with the crypto industry, but rather market understanding, industry resources, and the ability to help entrepreneurs solve practical problems.
