Goldman Sachs maintains a "Buy" rating on Microsoft with a 12-month price target of $640
Odaily reports: Goldman Sachs recently released a research note stating that the firm held a series of investor meetings with Microsoft (MSFT.US) executives over the past two weeks. Goldman Sachs noted that its impression was that Microsoft has made several key AI decisions over the past three years, and these decisions are now paying off as enterprises evaluate the importance of AI platform products.
In the research note, Goldman Sachs maintained its "Buy" rating on Microsoft and believes that the key value discovery areas to watch going forward will center on improvements to MAIA (Microsoft's in-house AI chip) and MAI, as well as the momentum of enterprise platform go-to-market efforts; the 12-month price target is $640, which represents nearly 28% upside from the stock's Monday closing price of $501.61.
