According to Odaily, on September 4, Balancer stated that its team had sent an on-chain message to the wallet associated with the August 31 Balancer V1 vulnerability attack, offering a bounty in exchange for the return of the stolen funds, and promising not to pursue legal action for the return itself if conditions are met. If the other party fails to respond before 5:00 AM on September 9, Balancer will take technical, on-chain, and legal measures to track down the attacker. The incident resulted in losses of approximately $234,000.
