BUIDL asset scale reaches $2.8 billion, reclaiming title as largest tokenized U.S. Treasury product
Odaily Planet Daily News BlackRock's BUIDL fund has seen its asset scale rebound to approximately $2.8 billion, once again surpassing Circle's USYC to become the largest tokenized U.S. Treasury product. BUIDL accounts for roughly 18.5% of the $15.1 billion tokenized Treasury market.
Launched in March 2024 and managed by blockchain asset services firm Securitize, BUIDL currently spans 8 blockchains, including Ethereum, Solana, Aptos, and BNB Chain. Each token targets a net asset value of $1, with daily yield accumulation through a rebalancing mechanism.
BUIDL was overtaken by USYC in March 2026, but reclaimed the top spot at the end of August. Its underlying assets include cash, short-term U.S. Treasuries, and repurchase agreements. Moody's awarded the fund an AAA-mf rating earlier this year. (Bitcoin.com News)
