Mobile proof generation speed increased by more than 14 times, Zakura releases Zcash cryptography library Zakura Common

Odaily News, Zakura, a Zcash full node client team, has released Zakura Common, a library providing cryptographic and protocol functions for the Zcash ecosystem. Official benchmark tests show that mobile proof generation speed has increased by more than 14 times, desktop by more than 5 times, Sinsemilla hashing speed by more than 21 times, trial decryption speed by more than 1.5 times, and zk-SNARK verification speed by 4 to 8 times. In many cases, the waiting time for wallet transaction creation can be reduced from over 3 seconds to under 200 milliseconds. This upgrade requires no network upgrade and is open-sourced under the MIT/Apache 2.0 dual license, and Zakura 1.3.0 will switch to this technology stack.
