Odaily reported on July 15 that the U.S. International Trade Commission voted to initiate a 337 investigation (Investigation No. 337-TA-1511) concerning certain dynamic random-access memory devices, downstream products, and components (II). The USITC will determine the investigation completion date within 45 days after institution. Unless the U.S. Trade Representative vetoes the decision for policy reasons, any remedial orders issued by the USITC in 337 cases take effect upon issuance and become final on the 60th day thereafter.
