Bitcoin 2026 Conference Announces Afroman as Keynote Speaker
The Bitcoin Conference announced today that renowned rapper, cultural pioneer, and free speech advocate Afroman will attend the Bitcoin 2026 conference, taking place from April 27th to 29th at The Venetian Resort in Las Vegas.
Afroman gained global fame with his 2001 hit "Because I Got High," but for the past three years, he has been engaged in a legal battle that transcends music. In 2022, law enforcement officers raided his home without success. Afroman later fought back by creating music using surveillance footage from the raid. This led to seven officers suing him for defamation, seeking nearly $4 million in damages. Earlier this month, a jury ruled in Afroman's favor. Outside the courthouse, he stated, "This is not my victory, it's America's victory."
