The Hurun Research Institute recently released the "2026 Hurun China Rich List." This year, a total of 1,529 entrepreneurs with personal wealth exceeding 5 billion yuan made the list, an increase of 95 from last year, setting a record high; the total wealth of listed entrepreneurs reached 32 trillion yuan, up 7% year-on-year (2.1 trillion yuan). ByteDance founder Zhang Yiming became China's richest person for the second time with 670 billion yuan, setting a new wealth record for China's richest person; Nongfu Spring founder Zhong Shanshan saw his wealth shrink by 120 billion yuan, dropping to second place with 410 billion yuan; CATL's Zeng Yuqun ranked third.

Notably, the top ten welcomed three "new faces": Hengli's Chen Jianhua and Fan Hongwei couple, DeepSeek's Liang Wenfeng, and Cambricon's Chen Tianshi—all entering the top ten for the first time. Among them, Liang Wenfeng ranked seventh with 280 billion yuan in wealth. (Cailian Press)
