Odaily reports: Bitcoin News posted on X platform that Flipper's upcoming LoRa module can send messages through a radio repeater network without relying on the internet. In a test in London, messages were transmitted over 150 kilometers through the MeshCore network.
This technology can be used to send Bitcoin transactions: signed Bitcoin transaction data can be transmitted via LoRa radio and repeaters to a gateway connected to a Bitcoin node, which then broadcasts it to the network. When the local internet connection is disrupted, users can send transactions through this method.

The total value of assets frozen, seized, or restricted from disposal in investigations related to Prince Group has exceeded S$600 million. (Caixin)
Odaily News: In response to a previous Wall Street Journal report that European Central Bank President Christine Lagarde pressured the Greek Prime Minister to block Binance's MiCA license application, a Binance spokesperson said it would not comment on speculative reports and reiterated that it will seek long-term compliant operations under the EU's MiCA framework. The spokesperson said: "We will not comment on speculation. In Europe, Binance remains committed to long-term compliant operations under the EU's Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation."
Previously, Binance applied for a MiCA license in Greece in January 2026. Odaily reports: QCP Capital stated in a post that Bitcoin faced two major bearish events within 48 hours — a procedural vote setback for the CLARITY Act and a Federal Reserve rate hike — yet the price still showed some resilience, briefly falling to a monthly low of around $75,900 and currently holding near $76,500.
QCP noted that spot Bitcoin ETFs saw net outflows of $450 million and $296 million on September 15 and 16, respectively, but flipped to net inflows of $159 million on the 17th, with BlackRock's IBIT recording $184 million in net inflows, indicating that capital flows improved after the Fed rate hike.
QCP believes the 25 basis point rate hike had been fully priced in by the market, and what is more noteworthy is Fed Chair Warsh's hawkish remarks on inflation and policy restrictiveness. However, U.S. Treasury yields subsequently fell across the board, suggesting the market may interpret the current hike as reducing the need for further rate increases in the future.
Odaily: Bitget Chief Legal Officer Hon Ng has published an open letter on the occasion of the platform's 8th anniversary. As the platform continues to evolve toward a Universal Exchange (UEX), Bitget has further upgraded its Proof of Reserves (PoR) system, expanding the scope of verifiable assets from the original 4 cryptocurrencies to 19 major assets. Data shows that as of September 2026, Bitget has published 46 consecutive PoR reports. In the letter, Hon Ng noted, "Growth and responsibility have never been two separate things." As the platform's scale, asset categories, and market boundaries continue to expand, security, transparency, and compliance standards must also be upgraded in tandem. "Making trust visible and verifiable has always been an important cornerstone of Bitget's commitment to long-termism."
On the security front, the account level covers 2FA, FIDO2, WebAuthn Passkeys, and anti-phishing codes, while the platform's security mechanisms integrate withdrawal protection, abnormal behavior detection, and anti-fraud systems, providing back-end safeguards for every user operation. The "Market Order and Token Responsibility Framework" launched this year further strengthened continuous monitoring and risk management of listed assets, project teams, and market makers. Through ongoing mechanism optimization and transparency initiatives, the platform continues to maintain a fair and orderly trading environment.
On the compliance front, Bitget has obtained corresponding registrations, licenses, or regulatory approvals in multiple jurisdictions, including Argentina, Australia, New Zealand, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom, and continues to improve its compliance systems, including KYC, KYB, AML, CFT, and sanctions list screening, to adapt to the regulatory requirements of different markets and asset categories.
According to monitoring by PPP prediction market tool, the probability on Polymarket of "the next Grok model (4.7 and above) being released before September 18" is now reported at 15%, down 38% in 24 hours.
If, between the market's creation and September 18, SpaceXAI releases the next Grok model to the public and its version number reaches 4.7 or above, the market resolves as "Yes"; otherwise, it resolves as "No."
Qualifying models must simultaneously meet the following conditions: the name or model identifier must include "Grok," and the version number must be 4.7 or higher—for example, Grok 4.7, Grok 4.7 Heavy, and Grok 5 all count; Grok 4.6 and its updated, snapshot, or promotional versions do not count. Standalone product lines such as Grok Code Fast and Grok Imagine also do not count, nor do the version numbers of the App or website itself.
In addition, the model must genuinely be open to the public. Public testing or a rolling waitlist that anyone can apply to join may count, but closed beta, private invitations, or internal access do not count. It also does not count if text such as "Grok 4.7" merely appears on the website but the model is in fact not publicly usable.
The main basis for judgment is official information from SpaceXAI, supplemented by credible media reports for verification.
