Running faster than anyone? CoreWeave's three co-founders have cashed out $3.3 billion since IPO
Odaily reports: According to MSX.COM data, CoreWeave's stock price plunged 15% on Wednesday and rebounded somewhat on Thursday.
It is reported that the three co-founders of AI compute leasing provider CoreWeave have cumulatively sold off $3.3 billion worth of company stock since last year's U.S. IPO, with $2.4 billion of that cashed out this year alone. As credit risks continue to mount, investors grow increasingly cautious about AI spending, and stock prices swing wildly, the three are locking in gains through large-scale cash-outs.
In March of last year, CoreWeave's stock price soared after completing its IPO, and the three founders — Chairman and CEO Michael Intrator, Chief Strategy Officer Brian Venturo, and Chief Development Officer Brannin McBee — joined the ranks of the Bloomberg Billionaires Index's global top 500 richest people.
