Data: RWA perpetual contract open interest rises to $9 billion, accounting for 14% of the total across mainstream platforms
Odaily reports: Data shows that over the past year, the total open interest of perpetual contracts on mainstream trading platforms dropped from $81 billion to approximately $67 billion, while the open interest of perpetual contracts linked to real-world assets grew from near zero to $9 billion, accounting for 14% of the total. During the same period, Bitcoin perpetual contract open interest decreased by approximately $8 billion, Ethereum by approximately $5 billion, and other tokens combined by approximately $10 billion. The growth in traditional asset contracts only partially offset the above declines.
