Grayscale: Zcash mining revenue reaches up to 4x that of Bitcoin, network hashrate grows over 2.5x this year

Odaily reports that Zach Pandl, Head of Research at Grayscale, stated in a post that driven by ZEC's price performance, Zcash mining revenue continues to increase. Data shows that the Bitcoin network's total daily miner rewards are approximately $35 million, while Zcash's are about $2 million. However, the daily revenue per mining rig is roughly 2x that of Bitcoin, and revenue per megawatt-hour is about 4x that of Bitcoin—even higher than some AI and high-performance computing cloud services. High yields are driving growth in Zcash mining activity, with its network hashrate having grown over 2.5x this year.
