Odaily reports that the Verus Ethereum cross-chain bridge was attacked, with approximately $7.53 million withdrawn to an address starting with 0xCFd0. CertiK noted that the bridge may have failed to verify whether the Verus side input amount matched the payment amount, a cause similar to a security incident that occurred in May.
