Odaily Planet Daily News A research note from BofA Securities indicates that the latest model released by Moonshot AI suggests competitive leadership in the AI industry is becoming increasingly short-lived. The report notes that the parameter scale of Moonshot AI's Kimi K3 model has nearly tripled compared to its predecessor, the K2 model. Analysts stated: "For Alibaba, although its cloud services business will benefit from the sustained growth in AI training and application demand amid still tight computing resources, its market narrative as the 'open-source leader' with Tongyi Qianwen may face new challenges." BofA added that the launch of Moonshot AI's new model has also increased pressure on other independent AI labs, such as Zhipu AI and MiniMax. (Jin Shi)
