Odaily News Capital Economics said the outcome of the U.S. presidential election remains unpredictable, but Trump does appear to be gradually leading in some key swing states. Nearing 11:30 p.m. ET, The New York Times gave Trump a 91% chance of winning, predicting he would win 300 electoral votes, well above the 270 required to be elected, and Polymarket had a 94% chance of winning. The agency also noted that markets have already reacted, with the 10-year U.S. Treasury yield rising to 4.42% from 4.30% a day earlier. The dollar strengthened, especially against the Mexican peso, with stock futures rising 1.2%.
