The report pointed out that since US law does not limit the funding of US presidential elections and congressional elections, as the struggle between the Democratic and Republican parties intensifies, voters are "flooded" by ads, text messages, emails and other canvassing content. The report said that the main expenditures of $14.7 billion were: a large number of TV ads, crazy fundraising appeals and a series of door-to-door visits by candidates, political parties and political action committees. According to AdImpact, a US advertising tracking company, the 2024 US presidential election will be the most expensive ever.
